What is the KitsFest mission?
The KitsFest is a sports and healthy living community festival. We celebrate diversity and inclusiveness for all ages and walks of life at every event. This contagious positive spirit helps us in our aim to build stronger community environments and share our success by giving back our community through legacies such as our park facility upgrades.
What is the purpose of KitsFest?
The purpose of KitsFest started before our inaugural launch in 2009. In 2007, our foundation now the “Canada One Foundation” donated approximately $50,000 to the resurfacing of the Kitsilano beach basketball courts to the City of Vancouver. It remains our vision to continue to re-invest in the communities in which we live and are proud to support. Future upgrades are planned for the entire Kitsilano beach area. When you come out to support the KitsFest by attending every bit helps contribute to our future donated upgrades.
Where can I park my car at the KitsFest event?
We are proud to work with EasyPark to together provide $11 all day parking at the H.R. MacMillan Planetarium, which is a 5 minute walk from Kits beach.
