All Sunday Beach Volleyball games will be hosted at Kit’s Beach as per the schedule.
COED 6’s & 4’s
In 2022, Urban Rec is offering five different tournament options in both Coed 6’s and Coed 4’s for your volleyball enjoyment. Play in one tournament or register a team in multiple tournament. The selection of tournaments gives participants the chance to select a time that works best into their weekend and allows them to take in all the great events associated with KitsFest including the King/Queen of the beach and the licensed beach side enjoyment zone!
The tournaments will run from 9:00am – 1:00pm in the mornings and 1:30pm – 5:30pm in the afternoons, allowing you ample time to enjoy the rest of what KitsFest has to offer in 2022!

King / Queen of the Court
For 2022 the KitsFest format will be a King/Queen of the Court! Often confused with King/Queen of the Beach but a very different format. A King/Queen of the court format has 4-5 teams per court. 1 team is on the King/Queen side where you are able to earn points. The other teams are on the serving/challenger side where you must serve and win the rally to knock the King/Queen out and take over their spot for your chance to earn points. It’s a fast-paced exciting format and we are looking forward to this year’s event!
Rounds are 45 minutes with 5 teams on the court. After 15 minutes the 5th team is dropped, after another 15minutes the 4th team is dropped. After the final 15 minutes teams will be placed in 1st 2nd or 3rd.
In opening rounds the 4th and 5th place teams do not get eliminated from the tournament they are placed into a playoff bracket and remain in contention for at least 1 round.
Cost: $100/team
1st place: $2000/team
*Total purse is dependent on number of teams registering. We expect to have $8000-$10,000 total purse split equally between men and women.
