SCHOOL OF ROCK BEACH STAGE
Back by popular demand, School of Rock returns to KitsFest for four days of live music on the beach, bringing together some of Western Canada’s most talented young musicians for a weekend of high-energy performances at Kitsilano Beach. This year, School of Rock Vancouver welcomes special guests from School of Rock Calgary and School of Rock Douglasdale, creating a unique cross-provincial collaboration that showcases the next generation of rock musicians from across Western Canada. Together, these elite House Bands feature students ages 7-18 who have earned their place through exceptional musicianship, dedication, and live performance experience.
Throughout the weekend, KitsFest visitors can enjoy a soundtrack of classic rock favourites, modern hits, and crowd-pleasing anthems performed live by students who have appeared at major events and venues including BC Place, Vancouver Whitecaps matches, Vancouver Canucks games, Vancouver Football Club, Vancouver Canadians Baseball, Fan Expo Vancouver, Canada Place, Khatsahlano Street Party, the PNE Fair, and many more!
Whether you’re competing, spectating, relaxing on the beach, or exploring everything KitsFest has to offer, stop by the stage and

LITTLE WING BEACH JAM
Sunday at 1:00 PM
Designed especially for children ages 3-5, the Little Wing Beach Jam is a fun and interactive introduction to music led by School of Rock instructors.
Young festival-goers will sing, move, clap, shake, and play along using a variety of rhythm instruments while exploring beat, rhythm, movement, and musical creativity in a relaxed and welcoming beach environment. No musical experience is required. Just bring your energy and imagination.
Parents are encouraged to join in as children discover the joy of making music, build confidence, and experience the same playful, performance-based approach that has made School of Rock’s Little Wing program a favourite for young families. It’s the perfect first concert experience and a great way to introduce little ones to the world of music.
SCHOOL OF ROCK INTERACTIVE MUSIC EXPERIENCE
Ever wondered what it feels like to play in a rock band? Visit the School of Rock Interactive Music Experience and let your child step into the spotlight. Kids can get hands-on with real instruments including drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, and microphones while School of Rock instructors help them make music from the very first note. Whether they’re trying an instrument for the first time or already dreaming of being on stage, this is their chance to explore, experiment, and discover a new passion in a fun and supportive environment.
Stop by for a quick jam, meet the team, snap a photo, and see why thousands of students across North America are learning music through live performance.
Then catch the bands on stage throughout the weekend and see what happens when young musicians take their skills from the practice room to the beach.
