All matches played at Kits Beach Courts; inclement weather could move matches to UBC Tennis Indoor facilities.

3 Playing Categories

Mixed Doubles: Playing Friday late afternoon Aug.18th / Saturday morning Aug. 19th (3 matches minimum, 5 for advancing teams)
Ladies Doubles: Playing Saturday later morning to later afternoon Aug.19th / Sunday Aug. 20th (4 matches minimum, with up to 6 for advancing teams)
Mens Doubles: Playing Saturday mid-day to early evening Aug.19th / Sunday Aug. 20th (4 matches minimum, with up to 6 for advancing teams)
**As each category includes multiple matches with some overlap; please enter only one playing event

The Entry Details

Traditional doubles level of play is “high 3.5” and primarily “4.0 – 4.5″ adult individual tournament range.
Mixed doubles is “4.0. – 4.5” playing range.
No 5.0 or Open level entrants please, entries would be refunded if fall into this category
Open to all players 19 years of age or older
Limited entry spots, will be based on first received
Once entered, no refunds as spots are limited..you can “substitute-in” a partner if needed up to day play begins
Entry is easy; $50 per player all taxes included..reg. on-line through this site via PayPal Pro

The Play

Scoring: 2 sets with no-ad scoring, 10 point tie-breaker for the 3rd set if you have split sets
Official Ball: Babolat
Indoor Back-Up: Thank you to UBC Tennis Centre and Director JJ Mahony for providing back-up incase of inclement weather

Additional

Welcome Bag: All players will receive a welcome bag of items they can use throughout the event, including official KitsFest tennis shirt and extra can of Babolat balls for warm-up, as well as access to all three court-side wine & beer gardens (tennis, beach volleyball, and basketball areas)
Stringing: Rackets & Runners will be on-site throughout the event if you need extra gear or rackets re-strung quickly for your next match
