WEDNESDAY (BEACH SET UP) – August 6, 2025

Shift 1 8am – 2pm
Shift 2 2pm – 8:30pm

Shift 1 8am – 2pm

Annually, the Canada One Foundation runs KitsFest at Kitsilano Beach.
KitsFest hosts numerous, what we consider, “cool”sporting events; Basketball, Women’s 3×3 Basketball, Provincial Men’s & Women’s Volleyball Championship, Youth Volleyball Tournament, Tennis, Pickleball, Chess Championships, Live Music, Lifesaving Competition (Lifeguard Zone), Outdoor “Music and a Movie” Night (on the beach), VIP Parking Lot Staffing, 2000 Picture Slideshows, Jr. Canucks Street Hockey, Family Fun Zone, Art Zones, Sample Zone, Touch Football, and this has now officially become a run-on sentence….
We seek Competent & Reliable Volunteers:
8am – 2pm – Morning
2pm – 7pm – Afternoon
Responsibilities: Setup (Wednesday & Thursday), Daily Tasks, Teardown (Sunday & Monday morning)
Volunteers are supplied Food & Beverages as well as a KitsFest volunteer T-shirt.
